REClifts is now seeking a Lift Engineer to manage a well-maintained lift engineering service route. This role involves service repair call-outs based in Northumberland.

The Lift Engineer Role:

• This Lift Engineer role will aim to efficiently manage your own service route. As a competent Lift Engineer, you will complete repairs on passenger lifts and goods lifts. The successful Lift Engineer will be familiar with working in the Newcastle area and will be comfortable with working the call-out rota.
• The Lift Engineer will carry out the electrical and mechanical maintenance of all types of goods, passenger and service lifts and lifting equipment.
• Report service/repairs / defects to encourage improvements in equipment and safety.
• Complete maintenance schedules in accordance with agreed Service Contracts

Ideal Lift Engineer Candidate:

• Currently working as either a Lift Service Engineer, Lift Repair Engineer or Lift Installation Engineer with over 2 years experience.
• Qualified to or above NVQ3 (or equivalent) in a lift engineering discipline.
• Lives a commutable distance away from Newcastle.
• Must hold a clean UK Driving Licence
