Your Role: Stairlift Engineer
You'll be responsible for:
- Installing and replacing both straight and curved stair lifts
- Conducting planned and reactive maintenance
- Performing site surveys for repairs or new installations
- Attending occasional emergency callouts
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service
- Managing tasks efficiently and communicating clearly at all levels
Who We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience with mobility equipment
- Mechanical and electrical skill set - ideally within the stairlift sector
- Relevant Electrical Qualifications
- UK Driving License
Desirable
- CSCS or SSSTS certification
- Familiarity with British Standards for lift equipment
- Experience with leading manufacturers: Stannah, Handicare, Acorn, Minivator, Wessex, editek, and more

REClifts is now looking for an experienced Stairlift Engineer to join one of the fastest-growing independent stairlift companies in the UK that has tripled the size of the workforce in the last 2 years. With approved and budgeted staffing expansion plans over the next 12 months. This stairlift company has an approved budget for recruiting 10 stairlift Engineers over the next 3 months.
Stairlift Engineer Responsibilities:
- Install both straight and curved stairlifts, rip out replacement and refurbishments
- Provide day-to-day planned and reactive maintenance of contracts
- Conduct site surveys as required assessing for new stairlift repairs or installs
- Respond to emergency callouts and carry out remedial works - occasionally

The Ideal Stairlift Engineer
- Stairlift Engineers must have at least 1 year of experience working on mobility equipment- ESSENTIAL

- As a qualified Lift Service Engineer, it is essential that you have all-round knowledge of lift equipment.
Responsibilities of Qualified Lift Engineer:
- Carry out minor repairs of passenger lifts
- Control own jobs including planning lift repairs and services
- Work efficiently and in a safe manner in accordance with all Health and Safety guidelines.
- Liaise directly with the customer whilst on site and build a good working relationship

Lift Project Co-ordinator Key Responsibilities:
- Answering the telephone
- Answering customer queries
- Uploading service sheets to the system
- Attending the weekly meeting on Teams
- Scheduling in Lift Engineers with customers
