Escalator Engineer – Nights

Looking for an Escalator Engineer role with excellent earning potential, structured night shifts and no call-out rota?

We’re recruiting for an experienced engineer to work across Greater London, including major rail, Underground and transport sites, with additional work at Gatwick Airport Station and Stansted Airport Station.

You’ll be servicing, maintaining and repairing escalators and moving walkways across busy passenger networks, using your mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills to keep equipment operating safely and reliably.

Equipment includes KONE TM, RTV and RTK units, Schindler 9300 escalators, Anlev systems and Otis 506 NCE equipment.

The role follows a 4 on / 4 off night shift pattern, working 7pm–7am, with a 45-minute unpaid break per shift.

Enfield, Barnet, Waltham Forest, Chingford, Ilford, Romford, Barking, Dagenham, Stratford, Greenwich, Bexley, Bromley, Croydon, Sutton, Kingston, Hounslow, Uxbridge, Harrow, Dartford, Swanley, Sevenoaks, Caterham, Redhill, Reigate, Horley, Crawley, Waltham Abbey, Loughton, Epping, Harlow, Cheshunt, Broxbourne, Bishop’s Stortford, Potters Bar, Borehamwood and Watford.

What you’ll need

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering
• Proven experience servicing and repairing escalators and moving walkways
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
• A clear commitment to safety, effective risk assessments and accurate site records
• Full UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK — sponsorship is not available
