REClifts is recruiting for a skilled Lift Service Engineer to take ownership of a well-maintained route in Central London. If you're experienced in call-outs and repairs and want to work with a respected, growing lift company - this one's for you.

Role Highlights:

  • Manage your own defined service route
  • Complete minor repairs & maintenance on passenger/goods lifts
  • Electrical & mechanical fault finding
  • Call-out and standby rota participation
  • Report defects and support safety improvements
  • Complete maintenance schedules under service agreements

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years as a Lift Service, Repair or Installation Engineer
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Lift Engineering - essential
  • Experience working in Central/North London
  • Full UK driving licence - essential
  • Strong fault-finding skills & a proactive mindset

Lift Technician Role:

  • As an NVQ 4 qualified or part qualified Lift Technician offering technical lift engineering knowledge and guidance on-site and over the phone to your team of Lift Engineers.

Lift Technician Responsibilities:

  • Utilise advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to conduct in-depth lift systems.
  • Analyse complex technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer manuals.
  • Adjust lift components such as drive systems, controllers, sensors, and safety devices.
  • Document test results, create detailed reports, and provide recommendations.
  • Ensure all lift engineering complies with health and safety regulations,
  • Collaborate with installation and maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration and handover of newly commissioned lifts.
  • Stay current with technological advancements and industry trends to enhance technical skills and knowledge continually.

Ideal Lift Technician Candidate:

  • NVQ 4 - Qualified / Part Qualified
  • Engineering Electrical/Mechanical qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience delivering a Lift Technician role
  • Excellent Leadership, customer service, and communication skills
  • Ability to follow lift manuals and electrical diagrams, adhering to health and safety requirements
  • A full driving license - Essential
