Responsibilities of a Lift Installation Engineer:

• Carry out Installations of passenger lifts
• Control own jobs including the planning of lift Installations
• Work efficiently and in a safe manner in accordance with all Health and Safety guidelines.
• Liaise directly with the customer whilst on site and build a good working relationship
• Installation of new lift systems, including control systems, electrical wiring, and mechanical components
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Liaising with clients and other contractors to coordinate work schedules and ensure minimal disruption to building occupants
• Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments

Required Lift Installation Engineer Experience/ Qualifications:

• You will be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 - Essential
• Minimum of 2 Years Installation of passenger lifts within the lift industry - Essential
• Full UK Driving Licence - Essential

Commutable: Enfield, Edmonton, Tottenham, WoodGreen, Chingford, Woodford, Walthamstow, Wanstead, Hackney.

REClifts is now looking for 1 x Lift Service Engineer in the Buckinghamshire area. The role will aim to manage your service route, consisting of 50-70 units. No matter where you live in the Buckinghamshire area. The passenger lifts and goods lift on your portfolio are always fairly distributed to keep your workload in a concentrated area as local as possible.

The Lift Engineer must be living a commutable distance from these areas and surrounding commutable from: High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Hertfordshire, Bicester, Towcester, Leighton Buzzard, Luton.

The Lift Company:
This independent lift engineering company has continued to expand its service contracts portfolio. As a business this lift engineering company provides both service and installation engineering services to its customers.

The Lift Engineer Duties:

• Competent in lift fault-finding diagnostics and first-time fixes for passenger lifts.
• Complete minor repairs on passenger lifts.
• Report defective lifting equipment and order new parts accordingly.
• Participate in an on-call rota and mentor junior Lift Service Engineers

Ideal Lift Engineer Candidate:

• Currently working as a Lift Service Engineer or have transferable skills working as a Lift Modernisation Engineer, Lift Installation Engineer, or Lift Repair Engineer.
• You must have at least 2 years of experience working on passenger lifts
• Hold a full driving license and be willing to travel around the Buckinghamshire area.
• Qualified to or above NVQ 3 (or equivalent) in a lift engineering discipline.
• Live a commutable distance away from High Wycombe- Buckinghamshire.

• Capable of first time fixes of passenger lifts.

• Participate in an on-call rota
• Mentor junior Lift Service Engineers

Ideal Lift Engineer Candidate:

• Currently working as a Lift Service or repair Engineer or have transferable skills working as a Lift Modernisation Engineer, Lift Installation Engineer, or Lift Repair Engineer.
• You must have at least 2 years of experience working on passenger lifts
• Hold a full driving license and be willing to travel around the Birmingham area.
