Lift Service/Repair/Callout Engineer
Are you a highly skilled Lift Engineer looking for a stable role with a well-established independent lift company? REClifts are seeking an experienced professional to handle servicing, repairs, and fault finding across London (primarily Central London).
The Role
This is a comprehensive engineering role involving maintenance, callouts, and fault finding. You will be part of a team that prides itself on high standards, including ISO9001 and ISO45001 certifications.
Key Responsibilities & Hours:
- Standard Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Call-Out Rota: 1 week in 4 (Monday 5:00 pm to the following Monday 8:00 am).
- Servicing: Participation in shared Saturday servicing once per month.
- Coverage: 90% of work is based in Central London; candidates must live within 1 hour of Central London.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Lifts.
- Experience: At least 7 years of industry experience.
- Licensing: Full clean driving license.
- Soft Skills: Must be a team player with excellent communication skills.
Salary & Benefits
- Starting Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per year, subject to experience.
- Call-Out Pay: £220 standby allowance per week, plus £70 per weekday call and £90 for weekends/Bank Holidays.
- Overtime Rates: for weekends and Bank Holidays.
- Holidays: 25 days per year plus Bank Holidays.
- Travel & Equipment: Company van, fuel, parking, and Congestion Charge/ULEZ paid via phone. Phone and PDA provided.
- Uniform: Full company uniform and PPE supplied.
- Additional: Company pension scheme and Personal Accident & Illness cover.
