Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 – early finish
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Lift Repair Engineer to cover Luton and the surrounding areas.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on lift repairs, fault finding and keeping equipment running safely and reliably.
You’ll have your own structured local patch, managing your day-to-day workload independently while having support from a local supervisor whenever needed.
You’ll work across a mixture of commercial, residential and public-sector sites, with a focus on keeping travel local and avoiding unnecessary long-distance journeys.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out lift repairs and fault finding
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
- Replacing, repairing and upgrading components
- Attending breakdowns and supporting call-outs
- Returning lifts to service safely and efficiently
- Managing your own local workload
- Completing site paperwork and maintaining accurate service records
- Working across a variety of lift systems and customer sites
What We’re Looking For
You’ll need:
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a Lift Engineer, ideally within service or repair
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- A full UK driving licence
- A professional and safety-focused approach
