REClifts is seeking an NVQ 3 qualified Escalator Engineer to join a well-known lift and escalator engineering company that offers progression onto NVQ 4 after a probationary period.
This company offers management training, clear progression routes, and vast workflow flexibility.
Our client is willing to adjust the role to suit successful Escalation Engineer applicants. This means there will be some flexibility on callout and shift patterns.
This role is perfect for Escalator Engineers looking for a better work-life balance but still wanting a higher salary and the opportunity to progress onto NVQ 4 upon joining the company.

Escalator Engineer – Ideal Candidate:

• NVQ 3 Escalator Engineering – Essential
• Full UK Driving Licence – Essential
• 5 years of experience as an Escalator Engineer familiar with an on-call rota
• Confident in managing minor repair works, such as repairing escalators.

Escalator Engineer Responsibilities:

• Report broken down machinery or equipment promptly and proactively flag faulty equipment to your Repairs Manager/ repairs department, requesting additional support where necessary.
• Liaise directly with the customer whilst on site and build a good working relationship.
• Adhere to the company’s health and safety policies at all times.
• Escalator breakdown and minor repairs of a variety of escalator packages on the portfolio
• Complete repairs across a specified territory, ranging from minor to scheduled troubleshooting
